Love has a "today" quality about it. It involves deeds, hours of listening, days of caring, and years of patience.
We should be wise enough to be sensitive to our daily opportunities to lay down a moment, an hour, or a day in love for someone.
In doing so, we lay down our lives for another, not in a single act of heroism, but in an hourly and daily service with love.
